The meeting will be at Kupuna Nohea Daniel’s home at Kunia. Please bring something with you, drinks or potluck. The time November 29, 2009 on Sunday 1000am . We would like to start the meeting at 1000am. Let other family members know about the meeting and as far as the off island families, we will contact them to let them know how things are going. Sonja/Pauline to finalize Maile Beach Park, get rough estimation of cost for food, tents, tables, chairs (report on next meeting)

Confirmation deadline was set for Dec 8.

Entertainment committee: Brandon/Loma
Dinner music by Nakagawa Clan, after that kanikapila style with whomever like sing/dance hula, play ukulele, guitar (bring your own instrument) Plus other entertainment.

Meeting Reminder & Meeting Place

Don’t forget our ’Ohana meeting at Kunia on October 11,2009 Sunday. When you enter Kunia, just go straight till you reach the last house on the right. You can come anytime and get to meet other family members, but we would like to start the meeting at 100pm. If you can please let me know if you plan on attending. I will have a list for you to check off if you attend the meeting. Please check with me to see if I have all your information, if not, will you please fill out a form so that I have your information. All ‘Ohana members that attend the meeting I will enter on the reunion list if you are not on the list otherwise if advised, not to enter you on the list. Don’t forget to bring potluck so we can all enjoy some lunch after the meeting. Malama pono a me ahui hou a me o wau no me ka ho’omaka’i ke ia la ho’onanea!

86, of Waimanalo, died Aug. 29, 2009. Born in Pearl City. Retired city maintenance man; also a heavy-equipment operator. Survived by wife, Lorraine; sons: Nobuo, Kimberley and Robert; daughters: Lori, Vanessa Hulihee and Leoda Shizuma; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Masaichi; sister, Harriet Fukunaga. Visitation: 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. George Catholic Church; Mass 11 a.m. Visitation 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 19 at St. Sophia Catholic Church, Kaunankakai, Moloka'i; service 10:30 a.m. No flowers. Aloha attire. Arrangements by Williams Funeral Services.

Age 45, of Mililani, Oahu, passed away August 8, 2009 in Mililani, Oahu. Born September 10, 1963 in Wahiawa, Hawaii. Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Sun Industry. He is survived by wife, Melissa M. Nakagawa; sons, Kahi Hernandez, Justin Nakagawa; daughters, Justine Nakagawa, Jaynalyn Nakagawa, Kishia Pasco of Georgia; 3 grandchildren; mother, Shirley Lozano; stepfather, Miguel Lozano; brothers, Wilbur (Leilani) Nakagawa, Wendell Nakagawa, Wesley Nakagawa; sister, Debra "Naka" (Mike) Maramba; Candice Lozano.
Visitation 5:30-9:00 PM Saturday (September 5) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Prayer Service: 7:00 PM. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
