On behalf the Mamala Ohana we would like to thank each and everyone for all the prayers for our ohana. We will be having a memorial beach service for Uncle Leonard on January 21, 2012 from 11:00am at Maili Beach Park across kaukamana street near the restroom. The event will be a potluck luncheon. We will be spending the day as a family and sharing memories of Uncle Leonard. Our ohana will be putting up a big tent with tables and chairs. We would like to invite anyone who has a PA system that would like to set it up and any ohana that would like to sing or entertain to please feel free too. Anyone with questions can contact me at 693-5516. The scattering of Uncle Leonard's ashes will be at a later date in Waikiki. Once again, Our Ohana would like to say MAHALO NUI LOA.

Just got the details for Ana Ke Maude Maile Chieko (Nakagawa) Canadilla.It will be on January 4 & 5, 2012 at Mililani Maikai Chapel. On the 4th 500pm will be 'Ohana only & from 600pm will be friends. On the 5th 830am will be 'Ohana only & 900am will be friends. Burial will be at 1100am.

Maude Maile Chieko (Nakagawa) Canadilla whose. mother was Emelia Kailiohe Kame'ekua whose parents were Inaina Kame'ekua & Ane Luahine Kame'ekua, Ane Luahine Kame'ekua whose parents were Nukuna Kame'ekua & Kailiohe, Inaina Kame'ekua whose father was Kame'ekua whose father was Nukuna Kame'ekua.

Just to let 'ohana know that Leonard Ku'umilimili Mamala passes away on Christmas Day. Leonard, George & I use to dive for coins by the Ale Ale Kai which was run by another cousin Ernest Wendolin Kalaimaka Kepilino Jr. I will pass on the information as I get it. Leonard Ku'umilimili Mamala whose mother was Henrietta Keahilalapole Willis whose mother was Laida Kealohaohana Paia whose mother was Uluhia Kauikawahinehilahilaoleopauahi Kame'ekua whose parents were Nukuna Kame'ekua & Kailiohe. Also to let 'ohana know that Yvonne Brooking is in Kuakini Hospital. She had a heart attack but is doing fine as said by her husband.
