I just had a call from Leimomi Motoyama & she said they was goning to close the freeway at 11pm tonight to11pm tommorrow. Anyway the meeting will be cancelled due to road closures due to APEC Farrington Hiway will be closed. We will have to make a meeting on a different day. Kala mai au for the last minute changes & the inconvience to our 'ohana.

Just a reminder that we have a meeting on November 13, 2011 Sunday at 1000am at Maili Beach Park. We will discuss the design of the T-Shirt, Tales from the Night Rainbow DVD, books & the design of a malo! Also to discuss fund raising. Don’t forget your potluck & bring tables & chairs. Don’t forget to bring paper plates & utensils & the cake for Johnna! It’s her birthday! Mahalo nui loa!

‘Ohana Meeting (October 9, 2011)

We discussed T-Shirts, if anyone has a design, please draw it out & send it to me or attend the next meeting. We need something for the T-shirts or we will go with something of the old design. The T-Shirts will be Black & Saffron Yellow. The permit will not be able to get till six months prior, so that will be in January. I will have to go to Waianae District Park to get the permit. We discussed fund raising (1) Kukui Sausage (2) Koala Moa Chicken (3) Lava Tube Ice Pops. We will vote which one we want at the next meeting. We will presale the tickets. Sign in table will be Johnna Willis-Thomas. Committees will be Johnna Willis-Thomas Books & Story Telling, Genealogy will be Sanford Kame’ekua, Roberta Kuehu-Soberano will be in charge of the kitchen, Aloha Mailou-Kama will be in charge of the kids, Arts & Crafts will be Kala Wills, ‘Olelo Hawai’i will be Lisa Soberano or Kalewohi Cabuyaban & Keoki Ki'ili will have a committee. We will also have a cleanup crew. We need someone to be in charge of that committee. We need someone to be in charge of games, horse shoe games & volleyball. If anyone who like to volunteer for any of the committees, please let us know. We would like name tags for those who are in charge of certain committees. Our next meeting will be at Maili Beach Park on November 13, 2011 at 1000am on Sunday. Please potluck.

Meeting On September 4, 2011 @ Blaisdell Park

These are the things that were discussed at our meeting. If anyone would like to add or volunteer for any of the following, please contact me. Our next meeting will be at Blaisdell Park on October 9, 2011 at 1000am on a Sunday & will be potluck. Anyone is welcome. We voted on Maili Beach Park on (1st Option) June 22 to 24, 2012 which will be from Friday to Sunday (2nd Option) July 13 to 15, 2012 Sand Island Beach Park. I will try to get a camping permit for the first option. As I called Waianae District Park, they will issue a permit six months in advance. To set up on Thursday, we will need approval from the Director of Parks & Recreations.
